CS:GO breaking viewership records
On Wednesday, May 13th, Astralis faced off against G2. The match turned a record-breaking viewership number for TV 2 ZULU part of the national TV broadcasting station TV 2. During the roughly four hours the match lasted, an average of 22,4 Danish viewers between the age of 15-40 tuned in to watch Astralis play their semi-final against the French roster of G2. That is approximately every fifth person in Denmark of that age group.
The viewership share peaked at 31,7 on the final map, Overpass, making it the best Wednesday TV 2 ZULU has ever had in its 20 years running.
Astralis take on FaZe Clan tonight at 20:00 CEST, the match will be broadcasted on Twitch.tv as well as TV 2 ZULU.
