A tough loss against SAW despite an impressive comeback

Unfortunately, we couldn't come out on top against SAW, losing with a 2-1 scoreline in the Brazy Party 2023 online tournament.

Despite being the favorites, we stumbled out of the gate and dropped the first map, Ancient, 16-6.

We quickly bounced back in the second map, Nuke, dominating with a 16-4 win.

The match was therefore forced into a thrilling third and final showdown, but we ultimately fell short on Inferno, losing 16-8 and handing the victory to SAW.

Despite the loss, we still have a chance to qualify for the playoffs.

A challenging fight awaits as we face off against ENCE, the 9th-ranked team globally, on Sunday, April 30th, at 17:00 CEST.

Struggled to keep up

Although our two young players, Christian "Buzz" Andersen and Alexander "Altekz" Givskov, displayed a surprisingly dominant performance at the beginning of the first map, Ancient, we suffered a bitter loss of 16-6.

SAW quickly gained momentum, and we, unfortunately, struggled to keep up.

Outstanding performance from BlameF

We returned strong in the second map, Nuke, securing an impressive 16-4 victory with Benjamin "BlameF" Bremers outstanding performance.

BlameF was on fire in the second map, achieving 31 frags with an impressively low death count of only 4.

He contributed significantly to our remarkable comeback and a dominant performance on Nuke.

BlameF achieved an outstanding rating of 2.43 on the second map.

Despite our best efforts to mount a significant comeback, we couldn't overthrow SAW on the last map, which they won with a 16-8 scoreline.

However, we're not out yet, as we'll be facing ENCE tomorrow at 17:00 CEST.

Improvement is on the cards for us.
