Astralis Counter-Strike Is Going to the Major

Astralis' 10th Major

April 24, Astralis Counter-Strike pulled through in a nail-biter versus French HEET – a hard fought battle for the last spot at the PGL Antwerp Major.

The Major, which begins May 9, will be the 10th Major out of 10 attended by Astralis since its' inception starting with MLG Columbus 2016.

The farlig Factor

The newest addition to the roster, Asger 'farlig' Jensen, found his groove within the team when it mattered the most. 67 frags and 48 deaths throughout the final best-of-three and an superb versatility between AWP and rifle play made farlig the second highest rated player of the match slightly edged out by Kristian 'k0nfig' Wienecke.

The young and the old

The upcoming Major will be the first attended by farlig and blameF. gla1ve's Major story is vast winning 4 trophies, k0nfig made it with North in Boston, 2018 – and then there is Xyp9x.

As one of Counter-Strike's most decorated veterans, Xyp9x will play his 17th Major. In other words, Astralis will be going to Antwerp with a mix of new hunger and proven experience.

Before it all goes down on May 9, Astralis will be playing BLAST Showdown on April 28 against Movistar Riders in a three-day tournament for a spot in the BLAST Spring Finals.
