After a very close best of three, Astralis emerge victorious and move to the lower finals on Saturday in BLAST Premier World Final 2021.
Astralis had a fairly dominant showing on the first map, going 16-8 on Inferno.
Afterward, NIP fought back on Mirage, who, despite substituting dev1ce with phzy, gave Astralis a hard time, ending the map 14-16.
In the final map of the elimination match, NIP continued their momentum from Mirage, causing the first half scoreline to be 5-10. Astralis was on the CT side in the second half, and several consecutive rounds caused gla1ve and his team to force NIP into overtime.
In the final acts of the intense best of three, Astralis managed to eliminate NIP from the tournament by winning 19-16.
