WePlay Academy League returns with Season 2 in September!
The pioneering academy league from WePlay commences in late September, with Astralis Talent ready to take on many of the same teams as last time. Here, the teams will fight for the prize pool of $100,000.
Since season 1, Astralis Talent has actively competed in Danish "POWER Ligaen," where Astralis Talent holds a shared third place out of 12 after four games.
Astralis Talent's roster will consist of Alexander 'Altekz' Givskov, Mikkel 'MistR' Thomsen, Mads 'vester' Vestergaard, Victor 'vigg0' Bisgaard, and Andreas 'void' Dietrichsen.
In the official format of the second edition of WePlay's Academy League, two GSL groups will battle it out until the Top-1 is revealed, which will go directly to the LAN Finals. The remaining two teams will be determined after each group's second and third places meet in a third group. All matches will be played in a BO3 format.

Group Stage
- Two GSL groups
- Top 1 Team from each group proceeds to Play-Off Stage
- Teams placed 2nd and 3rd proceeds to Last Chance Group
- All matches are BO3
Last Chance Group
- Single GSL group, Top-2 proceeds to Play-Off Stage
- Group is played until Top-2 has been determined
- All matches are BO3
Play-Off Stage
- 4-Teams Double Elimination
- First place from a group plays second from a different group
- All matches are BO3 until Grand Final
- Grand final is BO5 with Map Veto advantage for a team from Upper Bracket
