The game against Evil Geniuses started on EG's map pick Dust2, resulting in a narrow first half, with Astralis securing seven rounds on the CT-side. In the second half, Astralis swept the NA team with 9 T-side wins to close the first map of the series.
The second map was Astralis favorite, Nuke, which the stars managed an impressive 11:4 T-side on, closing the game 16:10 in the end.
The interim in-game leader Magisk was the MVP of the evening, with an impressive 1,69 rating and 57-32 KD across the two maps.
Friday 17th, Astralis will take on Vitality in the "Winner's Match"at 16:30 CEST, while Team Liquid and EG will play an Elimination Match at 19:30 CEST.
