blameF: We're Going Into BLAST Showdown With A Good Feeling

Things take time

Thursday, April 28, eight teams will compete in BLAST Spring Showdown for a spot in the BLAST Spring Finals in Lisbon.

After just qualifying for the Major, Astralis-player Benjamin 'blameF' Bremer is feeling optimistic going into the Showdown which includes teams like NiP, Heroic, and ENCE:

- We're going into BLAST Showdown with a good feeling after the RMR matches. We are improving in the areas we have focused on and even though we could have closed the two games against Players and G2, I think we played really well. The last game, being 2-2, will always be kind of messy, but we showed that we don't crumble under the ultimate pressure, and that is something we take with us into the coming tournaments.

We still have a lot to work on, but things simply take time

- We have taken some huge steps forwards and we are a group of different personalities who work very well together, who enjoy being in each others company, and who all have a great hunger to win. We still have a lot to work on, but things simply take time. Already being in a position where we actually feel bad about losing against NaVi, G2 and such teams is a good sign for us. We know we can do better, we know we will improve by simply playing more together and we enter every single game, knowing we can win.

- BLAST is a winner takes all tournament. The competition is tough, but we play to win. And to keep on moving forwards.

Astralis' first Showdown match will be against Movistar Riders on Thursday, April 28, 16:30 CEST. See the full bracket here.
