Aurora 'aurora' Lyngdal & Co. will meet BIG EQUIPA as their first opponent in the prestigious ESL Impact Season 5 tournament for women.
The teams attending are amongst the best women's teams in the world. aurora and her teammates are in Group A along with ENCE Athena, NIP Impact, Pigeons, BIG EQUIPA, and GUILD fe.
In order to qualify for the LAN finals the Danish quintet will have to place in top 2. The qualifying teams will compete in the ESL Impact in Dallas with a total prizepool of over $220.000.
Coming from a win in the qualification against FORZE Ladies there are big expectations for Isabella 'Ismo' Ferslev and the squad as she was reaping a total of 59 kills in the match. They are also undefeated in the Danish POWER League, proving they have momentum and are ready to fight in their first attendance at the ESL Impact.
Though this is their first time, Marie 'marie' Toft & Co. will fight for the best position possible in the groups with an attitude to improve and learn no matter what the outcome.
Qualifying through three best-of-threes
Their road through qualification consisted of three BO3 matches against 5bites, Spirit Female, and FORZE Ladies.
After beating 5bites 2-1, they played off against Spirit Females, which showed too big of a threat, and Aurora 'aurora' Lyngdal and her teammates were moved into the 3rd place bracket. They faced FORCE Ladies and prevailed with a 2-1 victory, qualifying for the ESL Impact.
