Last Chance at Qualifying for the BLAST Spring Finals

Last Chance at Qualifying for the BLAST Spring Finals

On Saturday, we will play NIP in the first round of the Play-in Stage of the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023. The Play-in Stage is our last chance to qualify for the BLAST Premier Spring Final, which we didn't qualify for in the Group Stage.

Our Group Stage performances consisted of ups and downs. Despite the loss, our match against Vitality, in particular, showed that this roster can work well together and give strong teams a run for their money.

We'll give it our absolute best in the Play-in Stage, which consists of two rounds. With NIP being our opponent in the first round, a win would see us go up against OG in round two, as they finished 2nd in their group. A win against OG would see us qualify for the Spring Finals that run from June 7-11.

We’ve met some great teams, and we will meet another good team on Saturday, but ultimately, these are the teams we want to beat - dev1ce

dev1ce is well aware of the skill level it takes to compete against the best teams, but he is confident and satisfied with the crew and his teammates:

- "It has been very mixed for the team and myself. In some parts of some maps, we have shown a very high level of Counter-Strike, but at times it has felt like we have locked up, worrying too much that we would not meet our own very high expectations."

- "The highs have been very high, but the lows have been way too low. We have a team with a great mix of skills and personalities, and we need to let ourselves feel good when we do good. We need to let our guards down a bit and just play the game without overthinking it. The crew around us is amazing, and everybody is patient and calm about it all, except maybe for us players who just want to go out there and show the fans some great CS."

- "We’ve met some great teams, and we will meet another good team on Saturday, but ultimately, these are the teams we want to beat. We’ll just need to continue working, analyzing, and supporting each other. Everything but the first two results feels good, and I am really glad to be back in the grind."

Qualifying for the Spring Finals would see us take a chunk of the $177,498 prize pool of the Spring Groups, as well as fighting for a part of the $425,000 prize pool at the Finals. A total of eight teams qualify, and we hope to feel your immense support on Saturday at 15.00 CET when we fight to be one of those teams!
