February 19 the League team was once again tested against the topdog of the LEC, G2 Esports. Despite once again being bested by the better team, Astralis has received significant praise for improving quickly and putting up exciting fights even against the best teams.
The weekend only became better as it progressed with the second match against EXCEL on February 20 where Astralis took its 3rd win in the league.
The victory was the result of great overall team chemistry but one player especially stood out. The ADC of the team Jesper 'Jeskla' Strömberg put up a monster performance earning him the MVP of the match that pushed Astralis to a tied 8th with Misfits.
The run for the playoffs have begun and now the team does not have much room for error if they are to qualify. A grand challenge considering that Week 6 will be met with Fnatic and Rogue, two of the best teams in the split. The morale is high and the staff and organization have proved that they are not here to roll over to the more established teams.
