Following their dominant victory over Nexus earlier in the day, the Main Team cashed their second Bo1 win vs Spirit. In a nail-biting showdown, the Danes fought tooth and nail but ultimately came up just a single round short of overtime. Victor 'Staehr' Staehr topped the scoreboard for almost the entirety of the match and ended with a 18-12 KD.
Seconds from overtime
The squad managed to secure both pistol rounds and dominated many weapon rounds by doing significant utility damage on the CT side in the second half. Yet, in the last crucial round of regular time, the Danes were out-clutched, and instead of going to overtime, Spirit stole the map at the last second.
1-1 and another Bo1 coming up
The Danish quintet are now 1-1 in the RMR Swiss format and will play again on Tuesday, February 20, at 13:00 CET. Here, they will go head-to-head with Heroic in yet another Bo1 match.
