The League of Legends team is 15 games deep in the LEC Spring Split 2021. Coaching staff Baltat 'AOD' Alin-Ciprian, Bjørn-Vegar Hansen and the team have pulled of three victories against Team Vitality, Schalke 04, and Excel Esports. Unfortunately, the rematch against Schalke 04 on March 6 resulted in defeat and therefore, the hopes of reaching playoffs in the Spring Split is over.
Still one superweek left
Playoffs may not happen this time around but there is still some fight left. The 8-week long battle in the Spring Split concludes with a Superweek on March 12 with games both Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Astralis will meet Team Vitality, SK Gaming, and MAD Lions all for the second time during the split. The team's first victory in the league was against Team Vitality on January 24 in the beginning of the split.
The last three games are a chance to prove that the significantly improving team has some bite in it. Afterwards, there is the even more important Summer Split to look forward to.
