Astralis Counter-Strike booked a spot in the Lanxess Arena at IEM Cologne after getting revenge over Cloud9, 2-0. On Sunday the team played their last group stage game against FaZe Clan to see who would advance to semis. FaZe Clan won. This means that Astralis will play the quarterfinals of IEM Cologne on Friday, July 15, 15:30 CEST against MOUZ.

After finishing the group stage with a good result, Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander had a few words to say:

- Lanxess Arena is always packed with the most passionate fans and the atmosphere in the arena is indescribable.

- Everyone on this team work hard and we are beginning to see the results. I know how much it means to both the org and the fans that we are beginning to reach a higher level of play and we share that feeling.

- We are playing to win on Friday and if we don't succeed, we will it soon enough in another tournament because we are developing really well right now.

IEM Cologne has a prizepool of $927,000 with Astralis already securing a minimum of $40,000 by reaching the quarterfinals.
