Ready for Summer Split

Ready for Summer Split

Since we got our three new players, our League of Legends team has been working hard to prepare for the Summer Split starting tonight. Coming from a 10th place finish in the Spring Split, we are looking to prove ourselves in the upcoming split.

Kasper Hvidt, Director of Sports, Astralis

- Coming from two splits at the bottom of the leaderboard, ending at 9th and 10th place, we used the off-season to take a closer look at our structures within the team.

I'm very confident that we will see the changes we have made transfer into more positive results - Kasper Hvidt

- With our roster settled quite early in the off-season, we quickly focused on preparing early and, hopefully, getting a head start coming into this split.

- We also decided to implement two scrim blocks daily to get more practice hours on the Rift as a team. This also aided us in getting JeongHoon acclimated to everything - inside and outside the team.

... we will confidently look for the win against anyone - AOD

- They say you learn the most from losing, and with all the lessons from the two previous splits, I'm very confident that we will see the changes we have made transfer into more positive results."

Baltat 'AOD' Alin-Ciprian, Head Coach, Astralis League of Legends

- I'm thrilled with our offseason this time; we started very early and have been practicing a lot to ensure we overcome the fact that we are a new team in the summer split.

- We feel prepared for whatever week one will throw at us, and we will confidently look for the win against anyone."

At Astralis, we are very excited to see our new roster compete. This weekend of LEC features three matches, and we open up the Summer split on Friday against the reigning champions, G2 Esports. On Saturday, we meet Team BDS and Misfits on Sunday.
