Secures Silver Medal at Nordic Women's Championship 2023

  • After finishing 2nd in the group stage with 9 points, tied with Finland in first place, the women's team faced Finland in the Grand Final, unfortunately losing in a 2-1 series to the Finnish lineup. Consequently, they ended up as the silver medalists.

Aurora "aurora" Lyngdal and Co. performed impressively in Göteborg, Sweden, at the Nordic Women's Championship 2023, reaching the grand final on Sunday, December 3rd, against Finland.

The women's team achieved victories against Iceland (13-1), Norway (13-8), and Sweden (13-1) and only lost to Finland (8-13) in the Group Stage. 

They advanced to the final showdown against their Finnish rivals but fell short in a closely contested best-of-three clash, 2-1.

Representing Denmark, the Søren "zibron" Gertsen-led women's team won the first map 13-8 but lost the following two maps 6-13 and 13-16. 

The Danish quintet, with aurora as the in-game leader, alongside Marie "marie" Toft, Isabella "Ismo" Ferselv, Anja "anja" Soelberg, and Josefine "josefine" Jensen, still delivered an impressive performance.
