The Six Invitational Awaits

January 30, 2023

The Six Invitational is right around the corner, which starts on February 7.

Since the SCS Season 7 ended in the middle of December, our Rainbow Six Siege team has been preparing and bootcamping for the Six Invitational.

The tournament in Montreal starts on February 7 with the Group Stage, which ends on February 11. In a single Round Robin format, 20 teams compete in four groups of five, with matches being best-of-three.

From February 13-15, the Playoffs Part 1 takes place, and the second part and the Grand Final happen from February 17-19. In a Double Elimination bracket with best-of-three matches, the group placings choose how far you'll start in the Playoffs.

The Grand Final is played in a best-of-five format with no map advantage.
First place wins the trophy and 33.3% of the yet-to-be-determined prize pool.

Our team is excited to compete again, and with the recent addition of Spiff, the new roster is trying to fit together.

Talk is cheap. The focus right now is practice, practice, practice. - Iconic

Callout, our coach elaborates on the Six Invitational preparations.

- The preparations for Six Invitational are the same as any other match up. We want to maintain the same standards no matter the circumstances. Take each moment as it is and work hard.

Although the preparation are as any other matchup, our analyst, Mango, speaks on the pressure surrounding such a large tournament and other activities besides practice during off-season.

- Pressure is always a top concern going into big tournaments. Right now the main objective is taking each practice day by day and making sure we are as prepared as we can be.

- A big goal this off-season was maintaining both physical and mental performance…being in the same house has helped accelerate that process. That could be going to the gym as a team every morning or running a 10k…we just want the team to stay fit and healthy.
