Esport Denmark: Participation Enhances WEC's Integrity

Peter Christensen, Project Manager from Esport Denmark, commented on the Danish participation at the World Esport Championship 2023:

- We are incredibly pleased and proud that Astralis Talent will represent Denmark at this major tournament. Having great organizations such as Astralis as representatives in international team tournaments enhances the integrity of the competition.

- We hope this will encourage other nations and associations to prioritize sending strong teams, thereby creating better tournaments and incentivizing more organizations to allow their players to participate as national teams, just as we see in traditional sports.

- We aim to participate in this tournament to promote national team esports and achieve Danish success in this field. We want to demonstrate that we are a top nation in esports and aim to have more game titles represented at future events.

- The chances are good for achieving excellent results in both CS:GO and Tekken (Denmark also has a Tekken 7 player participating in WEC).

More than 100 nations will be participating in the World Esport Championship, competing across seven different game titles, including Dota 2, Tekken 7, PUBG Mobile, eFootball 2023, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and last but not least, CS:GO.

The event boasts a total prize pool of 100,000 dollars, divided across the different game titles.
