This weekend, it was announced that our Main team has been invited to compete in the YaLLa Compass 2024 LAN Tournament, which will kick off in June. This major event, held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, features an impressive prize pool of $400,000 and will see 12 teams fighting for glory.

The tournament organizers still have four more rosters to invite before kicking off the major LAN event, with one of the invites dedicated to the Middle East and North African region.

Nicolai 'dev1ce' Reedtz and his newly formed lineup were announced this Saturday alongside the Polish ENCE roster, which features the former legendary Astralis in-game leader, Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander.

Some might say we're looking forward to a potential clash of titans—two famous Danish players, best of friends and now both in-game leaders on their respective rosters.

The master, gla1ve, and his former apprentice in terms of team leadership, dev1ce, are now setting their sights on the perfect challenge and potentiel matchup: a face-off between the mentor and protégé in a direct tactical duel.

Eight teams have been announced so far, with another Danish squad, Sashi Esport, supringsingly securing a spot in the Abu Dhabi event.

The list includes

  • Astralis
  • ENCE
  • Cloud9
  • Eternal Fire
  • FURIA
  • BIG
  • HEROIC
  • Sashi

The YaLLa Compass 2024 begins with two best-of-one round-robin groups, each containing six teams. The top three teams from each group will qualify for a single-elimination playoff bracket. Four teams will compete in the first round, with the victors advancing to face the group winners in the semi-finals.
