A Rematch Awaits

Once again, Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz and co. will meet the North American veteran Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and his squad, Complexity.

They fought against each other in the lower bracket at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023, chasing a ticket to the Fall Finals.

It was one of the first tournaments with Johannes "b0RUP" Andersen and Victor "Staehr" Staehr on the roster. Benjamin "blameF" Bremer was on fire as he helped secure a 2-0 victory with a 1.74 rating across Vertigo and Overpass.

While the BLAST Groups and Showdown were played in CS:GO, the teams will compete in CS2 at the Fall Finals.

On Wednesday, November 22 at 19:00 CET, the main team faces the North American team Complexity in the BLAST Fall Finals 2023 opening match.

Complexity qualified through the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023 in October, and about a week later, they participated in the first big CS2 tournament, IEM Sydney 2023. In Australia, they proved to be ready for CS2 as they reached the Grand final by beating teams such as Monte, Cloud9, and G2 - ultimately losing the final to FaZe Clan.

Despite a great LAN run, they couldn't replicate it in the online tournament, Thunderpick World Championship 2023, ending 9-12th.

Since the release of CS2, they've won 13 out of 22 maps, with EliGE being their best player, performing a 1.21 rating.

In comparison, the Danes have won 5 out of 12 maps played in CS2. They've competed online and on LAN, the latter being at the Asia Championships 2023, where they reached the semi-final by beating ENCE on the way. Three of the top five players at the tournament in Shanghai were Astralis players.

The captain, blameF, is the highest-rated Astralis player in CS2, reaching a 1.27 rating, while the sniper, dev1ce, holds a 1.20 rating.

The opening match, beginning on November 22nd at 19:00 CET, can be watched at Astralis Watch, where you can chat with like-minded fans and cheer simultaneously.
